Express You in your home

How well does your home speak of you?   A Woman’s Voice is sometimes heard loudest or disappears deepest in the rooms she lives in.  The ultimate design of self expression.
Is your space keeping you trapped in smallness?  Holding you and your soul prisoner?

Do you dance in your rooms?  Or do you hate going home?
If you hate going home or feel uncomfortable about your space, know that you don’t need to stay trapped in that room that shrinks your happiness, keeps you feeling tired and sad.

You can change the rooms you live in and how you feel with a few simple adjustments.
Ask yourself some questions about what you like or don’t like in the space.  What could you do different?

How can I bring out my personality, using what I have?

How can I create more flow ?

Can I see the view from my favorite chair?

How can I make that fabric on my chair less noticeable ?
Start where you are at and spill it out.  Write your history and lifestyle into the fabric of your home.

Fling back the drapes, let in the light. Let go of things you don’t need, like or want.   De-clutter, de-stress and open up the space.   Free yourself!
Be selective about what you surround yourself with.  Be you, but pare it down.

Would you wear all your jewelry at once?

This is like creating perfume.  It is the essence – just a drop or two are all a powerful woman needs to speak her message in a room.  I have done this many times for people, and each time I am amazed at what unfolds from what is.  The best part has to be what happens to the people in the room.

Stuff doesn’t make a room. You do. It’s the marriage of how you honor and enjoy the stuff you have.  Infuse your rooms with your essence.

Rethink how the furniture is arranged.   Is there something you can take out?

Bringing out your personality.  If you dont read or love books, you dont have to have books.  This is your home.  Choose what stays and goes.  Express Yourself.
Bring in scents you love or flowers.  Create a collection in one place – a tray of favorite pieces. Have fun.

What is it your love the most about your home or your Le Chic Cocoon?  How does going home make you feel?   Share your thoughts in a comment below.
