  4. Your message is a declaration for every woman to have le chic cocoon. Fabulous and urgent all at the same time. Congratulations.

    • Dear Alara thanks so much. What a compliment. Yes so glad you could feel my passion, that is such a gift to know.

  7. I do believe this will be a best seller and you come across very sexy and independent in this video. Love that! Still working on my Le Chic Cocoon (which I like better than Diva Den, btw!) Looks like it’s not going to be full room, but that’s OK, right? Just a nice space for me and my thoughts. So proud of you for writing your book. I’ll be buying one!

    • Thank you Laurie. What fabulous words of encouragement. So glad your Chic Cocoon is taking shape. Yes, you are correct. you do not a whole room of your own. As long as you have a space in the room that is entirely yours, where you are not distracted. I cant wait to hear what you think of the book. xox

    • Dear Laurie, thank you so much! Sexy and independent – that is my dream that is finally happening 🙂 yes half a room is just fine, as long as there is nothing to distract you from your time. Cant wait to hear how it turns out. Jen

  8. I heard once that every woman should have her own powder room as well. I’m still working on that one with my husband. Your book sounds so interesting and the cover is beautiful. I am very intrigued by this concept. I have a space in my home that could be my Le Chic Cocoon. The idea relaxes me just thinking about it.

    • Meredith that is wonderful to hear. I am thrilled that you are considering creating your own Le Chic Cocoon. Thanks for the very kind compliments, which make me feel so happy, to know that I can bring joy to other women, is a real thrill. Keep me posted on your progress. Jen

  9. I’m in the process of moving, and you’ve inspired me to make sure I get my chic cocoon in order quickly. Congratulations on writing your first book, what a great accomplishment.

    • Jennifer, thank you so much, it is pretty exciting. I am so glad I decided to write the book. And congratulation on moving and getting your priorities right 🙂 Jen

  10. LOVE it! Your video rocks….and can’t wait to get a copy of your book. You have been such an inspiration and guiding force…I adore you and all you do. You WILL be a best seller, NO DOUBT about it! I am still working on my diva den/chic cocoon…however, the mini bar might not make the cut…lol! Thank you for moving me out of the back row and into my own space…..I won’t be in San Fran to celebrate with you….but I will be there in spirit! Enjoy every minute….you deserve it! Love you woman:)

    Rita Brennan Freay

    • Dear Rita, my dear friend. love your note. So glad to inspire you 🙂 I adore you right back and you know it right? I am looking forward to being a besteller. So glad your Chic Cocoon is in the works. Yes the mini bar can be tough to fit in, but it just might have to find its place – maybe a nice tray with drink accoutrement! Yes you need to be in the front row, To bad you cant come to San Fran but you can watch the live streaming and yes I would adore to have your there in spirit. Thank you soo much. Love you too. Jen

  11. You are so selling this, Jen! Brilliant concept, and one I need to embrace. I do not have a good space–I’ve written about my challenges of creating clutter-free space, no less this kind of personal cocoon–but you are motivating me and reminding me of its importance. I think I need to ask myself why managing my environment has been so difficult for me. I treasure balance, and I love a special space for writing, so surely I should have that space at home.

You are so on your way to stardom with this! Can’t wait for the launch.

  12. Love, love, love! You, the concept and your book! So looking forward to having a hand-signed copy of your book Jen to read over here in the UK . You’ve done it. What an inspiration. Woohoo!! xxx

  13. Ok, #1 – love the way you’re rockin’ that zebra pillow; #2 – that sexy voice and delivery – we all want to be like you and I can only assume it’s because you have your own “Le Chic Cocoon”; #3 I’ll be there for your event! I don’t have a specific room, but I don’t shy away from taking care of myself. Our master bedroom is designed to my tastes and I spend time there by myself (that sounds sad – not ALWAYS by myself.)

    • Pat I adore you and I am thrilled you are coming to the party. I know that your bedroom is your Chic Retreat and yes its good to use the room for romance and selfish space 🙂

  14. You are such an inspiration, Jen, and listening to you makes me long for such a space in my life; So many demands on me right now, but when things simmer down I hope to be able to focus more on regaining my equilibrium and finding that place where I can take care of my self. Can’t wait to read your book! and I have no doubt you will enjoy huge success with this…so many women out there that are able to relate and are hungry to embrace what you are sharing.

    • Donna you are an angel. I hope my book brings you joy. I know you will find your equilibrium very soon. Cant wait to hear all about it. Jen

  15. Before I watched your video, I read the blog and thought I don’t have a room but then you said it can be a space in a room. That made me happy. I do need to do this for myself. At least 10 minutes each day to do what I want. I never seem to find the time for me. That must change. Thank you.

  16. Hi Jen,
CONGRATULATIONS on your book! What a triumph! “Le Chic Cocoon” is a great solution for coping with a world that impinges on our serenity more every day. For men as well as women, if you ask me. I don’t recall ever hearing the word “selfish” used in such a re-affirming way, but the sentiment strikes me as right on!

    • thanks so much Robbie. I agree that men to need their space. I am planning to to that book next 🙂 we all need to embrace a little selfish 🙂

  17. WOW! I’m transfixed by your space and sexy voice. You know I’m creating my own Chic Cocoon in my garden and I’ve also decided to make my office my own as well. I have no problem being selfish…so glad now I can tell everyone that ‘Jen made me do it!”

Devoted to finding all things delicious.

    • Oh Darce, I will proudly bear the blame. I am thrilled I “made” you do it. Thank you so much for all your help. Jen

  18. I love the concept – ‘le chic cocoon’, most women need to be a little (a lot!) more selfish and focus on taking care of themselves and in turn do a better job of taking care of their loved ones. Congratulations on your book, looking forward to it!

  19. Le Chic Cocoon! Perfect! That ‘diva’ handle has been overrun. Glad you found this wonderful segue. Yes, this concept is long overdue.

    • Thank you so much Rowena. It was a happy happenstance that the Diva was overrun. I agree we have needed this concept for far too long 🙂 Jen

  20. Jen – I’m in awe! I’m so proud of you. I will purchase the book as soon as it’s released. Rock star sexy author, you!

  21. You’re a success already, Jen…just look at all the people you have inspired or are inspiring to create their own space! I am blessed to have “the whole space” to myself, at this time in my life, but remember years ago, when my kids were young, taking the fourth bedroom as my office and space. I guess I was ahead of my time! I still struggle with the word “selfish” even though I understand it has a positive side, but maybe women are ready to embrace that term! I wish you HUGE SUCCESS!!

    • Dear Maridel, you inspire me with your words. So glad you have the whole space to yourself. Yes I can see how selfish can be a difficult word to swallow comfortably for women. That is why I chose it. It has so much energy behind it. Jen

  22. Fret no more for the perfect item to give any-aged woman for: Christmas, Birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Graduation Day, Get Well, newly single, newly retired or just plain ‘thinking about you’ gift. They’ll be flying off the bookshelf and on every Kindle before you know it Jen!

  23. Lovely Jen – You are the epitome of someone who knows how to create and live in a chic cocoon! Can’t wait to read your sage advice!!! Boy do I need it! : )
